The PetSafe Basic Bark Control Collar is a static electric bark collar with 15 auto-adjusting correction levels. The collar is powered by a replaceable lithium battery and the module is completely waterproof. Formerly called the PetSafe PBC-102 or PBC-103.
'How it works'
After correctly fitting this bark collar, the PetSafe Basic Bark Control Collar adapts to how frequently your dog barks. Correcting your dog with the lowest level of stimulation and slowly increasing with each bark until your dog stops. The correction is immediate and consistent, helping to teach your dog when to associate their barking.
'Activation Type'
The PetSafe PBC19-10765 is a vibration activated collar that delivers a static electric stimulation when it detects the vibration of your dog's vocal chords as they bark.
'Levels'
The collar has 6 levels of low to high static stimulation strengths. When your dog barks, the collar delivers a static stimulation at the lowest level (level 1). If your dog continues to bark within 30 seconds of the previous bark, the collar automatically increases one level at a time until it reaches the highest level (level 6). When your dog is silent for 30 seconds, the collar resets to the lowest level of correction (level 1). Each static stimulation is also accompanied by an audible tone.
'Safety Cut-Off'
For your dog's safety, the collar will automatically shut off for 3 minutes if your dog barks 15 times or more within 50 seconds.
