Single-ingredient product with no preservatives, additives, colours, added sugar, or anything else! Our Chicken Breast Dog Treats are made from quality Australian chicken breast without the use of a glycerine, preservatives, additives, or sweeteners.
Please note: These Chicken Breast Dog Treats are not the really soft chicken pieces you may be used to. The softer products are soaked in Glycerine (preservative E422) before being dried. E422 acts as a preservative, sweetener and softener.
Rich in protein, high in vitamins, and low in fat, our Chicken Breast treats will help keep your dog strong. With no added sugar, colours, or preservatives, they are the perfect treat for your furry friend. The chicken breast fillet treats are thinly pressed and easy to break up – making them an ideal training reward for dogs of all sizes. And cats love them too!
As they do not contain preservatives (many do not list it or realise it has it in!) these fillets are harder and drier than you may be used to. These are some of the only dehydrated chicken breasts on the market specially made for our producer - and you get a lot of chicken for your dollar with our product.
As an all-natural product, our Chicken Breasts are not marinated in a glycerine gel solution before being dehydrated. Water-based glycerin gel gives other dehydrated chicken products a juicer and softer appearance. It’s used so they can have a much higher water content and acts as a mould inhibitor.
This is one reason why other Australian and imported chicken treats can be cheaper – the more glycerine they put in the higher the water content, so the heavier the product weighs and the more money they make - as you are buying a water/glycerine solution instead of chicken breast.
Storage:
- Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight.

This product can be smelly, as we do not hide any smells with preservatives or additives (glycerine is sweet smelling and often covers chicken jerky smells), this is simply the natural product dehydrated. Whilst it can have a very strong smell, dogs love it! The smell comes from concentrated nutrients after dehydration. It takes about 4kgs of raw chicken breast just to get 1kg of dehydrated chicken breast!
Did you know that the probable cause of the animal deaths linked to Chinese chicken breast treats was the 'accidental' use of an industrial glycerine. Another reason we stay Australian and preservative-free!
